Hotshot FX offer a broad range of photographic services including modern and traditional wedding photography, portraiture and special commissions. Our photography also perfectly complements our web design service to give your site a stronger image and internet presence. Weddings
Recent years have seen a move away from traditional posed wedding shots to a reportage style of photography, where the photographer takes more of a step back from proceedings and rather records the day as it unfolds with candid images instead of staged ones. This has evolved further into a subtle blend of candid and posed shots which both records the day as a journal but also includes key posed portraits, the magic moments that should never be missed, such as the bride and groom outside the church, group pictures, the signing of the register and the cutting of the cake.
This is the type of style we at Hotshot FX specialise in but the client is by no means restricted to this.
A series of posed shots from a pre-agreed list is always possible, as is a complete reportage style of shooting, where the couple are left to enjoy the day whilst the photographer records key moments and events from afar. A few weeks before the wedding day our photographer will meet with you at your convenience and discuss the day with you, agreeing the shooting style to be adopted and compiling a must have list of shots. This can include not just the ceremony and reception, but also wedding preparations such as the bridal party preparing for the church and so on. If possible the photographer will take some pre-wedding photographs to help form a relationship with the couple. This is best done at the church or reception but is not restricted to these places. The whole day is planned to your requirements.
After the event Hotshot FX normally take 10 to 14 days for post production of your images, which are then published to a private preview gallery which is password protected and which access is provided only through you. This means that anyone in the world can enjoy your pictures at their convenience and order prints effortlessly, from the comfort of their own homes. It is possible to view your preview wedding album via DVD, PDF or CD if you prefer not to use the internet although the latter is our preferred way of doing things. Once you have selected your images you have a variety of options which will normally have been pre-agreed when you commission Hotshot FX to shoot your wedding. These typically include CD/DVD only, where you have unrestricted access to your selected images for private printing, actual prints to a size and finish of your choice, or a completed album or journal. Specialist enlargements, including canvas prints, are readily available. In addition to this service you have the additional benefit of our full range of Hotshot FX's special effects, such as toned printing, beauty enhancements and a breathtaking range of creative styling!
